Community General Surgeon
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to serve as a General Surgeon at two critical access hospitals which are members of the DHH system. Alice Peck Day (APD) Hospital and New London Hospital (NLH) are both located in scenic, rural New Hampshire with close ties to the Dartmouth College community.
We are seeking a well-rounded surgeon to manage community general surgery patients. Endoscopy is required and interest in wound care is desired. Call is no greater than 1:4.
APD and NLH are integral partners in the growing Dartmouth-Hitchcock system. This is an excellent opportunity for a general surgeon looking to practice in a collaborative and collegial setting and who desires an opportunity to continue to build a referral practice.

New London Hospital (NLH), an affiliate of Dartmouth-Hitchcock, is a 25-bed rural hospital serving the Lake Sunapee region in central New Hampshire. The mission of NLH is to provide safe quality primary care and specialized clinical services in a patient and family centered care environment. A designated Critical Access Hospital, NLH offers primary care for the entire family, ambulance and emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, a 24-hour emergency department, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, acute and critical care, and a full array of surgical services including orthopedics.
