Current good standing status with the College of Nurses of Ontario. You have:Current Ontario Certificate of Competence, BCLS required.Palliative Care Certificate or Certified Hospice Palliative Care Nurse (CHPCH) certificate.Foundation in Oncology Nursing Practice course.Provincial standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course.Foundations of Oncology for Emergency Nurses course required, or successful completion within one (1) year of hireCertified in Oncology Nursing Canada (CONC) preferred.The hands-on knowledge. You have 5+ years nursing experience with the majority in a hospital setting on a Palliative and Oncology unit. You have exceptional skills demonstrating your ability to prioritize patient care needs, conduct a swift and accurate physical assessment, make autonomous decisions, and contribute to a care plan.The compassion, communication, and relationship-building skills.Passion for helping others and playing a key role in the health and well-being of your community members.Willingness to follow directives and help where needed.Ability to thrive in a collaborative practice model as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Excellence in decision-making and critical thinking.Flexibility and the ability to pivot in a rapidly changing environment.Exceptional verbal, comprehension, and written skills in English.Your community thanks you for considering this role.Apply now.
